The Island Trail is a multi-purpose trail that is accessible from the mainland by a 100ft arched bridge. The trail hugs the shoreline so there is a continuous view of the water. The southern third of the island has old-growth white pine trees. The rest of the island is covered by old hickory, oak, and black cherry trees. The trail on the island is not cart accessible.
