“Goblet” tree.

The South Loop covers some beautiful terrain with outstanding views of Lake Ovid and beautiful old growth trees.  One section of the loop uses part of the old park road that goes over the dam and continues south to near the boat launch site. The other section of the loop winds along the lake shore. There is a scenic overlook with hitching posts, picnic table and a spectacular view of the lake.  A perfect place to take a break and stretch your legs.  There is a connector trail to the west loop and the staging area.  And, best of all, this trail is cart accessible!

Be sure to check it out this summer!
